UDHAMPUR, MAY 01: District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, today chaired a review meeting on various ongoing developmental works under UT Capex and Centrally Sponsored Schemes at the Conference Hall of Government Medical College Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by the Director Planning, J&K Health and Medical Education Department; Principal, GMC Udhampur and staff members from both the college and engineering wings.
Principal GMC Udhampur apprised the DDC about the current status of developmental works at Village Bailey and the Associated Hospital of the Medical College.
The DDC directed all departments to coordinate effectively and expedite the progress to ensure timely completion of all works.
Later, the DDC visited the premises of the Associated Hospital, GMC Udhampur and issued on-spot directions for the judicious use of vacant space for constructing multi-level parking to benefit hospital staff and ease patient access. She also instructed hospital authorities to undertake necessary steps for the facelift of the hospital building, cover the Nallah near the entry point and macadamize the internal roads within the hospital premises.
