KUPWARA, JUNE 27: District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting with officers, representatives of various political parties to discuss key electoral matters, particularly the rationalisation of polling stations, as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
During the meeting, all instructions and guidelines issued by the ECI were shared in detail with the participants.
Representatives from political parties actively participated and shared their suggestions and concerns regarding the rationalisation process. Ayushi assured them that all their inputs have been duly noted and will be considered in the final decision-making process.
DEO reiterated the commitment to conduct free, fair, and transparent elections, ensuring the cooperation and confidence of all stakeholders.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy District Election Officer Kupwara, Mumtaz Ahmad Pir; Returning Officers, officials and representatives from different political parties.
