UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 25: Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai today inaugurated a newly constructed entrance gate at DC Complex Udhampur.
The project has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs 22.57 lakh by the Public Works Department R&B Division under the District Capex Budget 2025–26.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Prem Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh and other senior officers of the district administration.
While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the construction of the new gate is aimed at enhancing the overall aesthetics and infrastructure of the DC Office. She further informed that the improved entrance facility will ensure better accessibility and convenience for the general public and visitors approaching the office for official work.
The initiative reflects the district administration’s continued commitment towards strengthening public infrastructure and providing citizen-friendly facilities in Udhampur.
