GANDERBAL, MAY 04: Director Health Services (DHS) Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather and Shrine Board Officers led by Rai visited Baltal Base Hospital today to oversee the healthcare preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY) 2024.

Accompanied by senior Officers, Dr. Rather took stock of the healthcare measures in place and ensured that all arrangements meet the necessary standards for the annual pilgrimage.

During the visit, Dr. Rather and Rai inspected the hospital’s facilities and reviewed emergency preparedness plans. They assessed the medical supplies, equipment, and services available at the hospital, providing guidance on necessary enhancements to better serve pilgrims during the Yatra.

Dr. Rather emphasized the importance of comprehensive healthcare services for the safety and well-being of SANJY participants. He commended the hospital staff for their dedication and commitment to serving the community and highlighted the need for seamless coordination with other healthcare and security agencies.
As SANJY 2024 approaches, the Department of Health Services, Kashmir, is dedicated to ensuring robust medical support for all pilgrims, making their journey safe and smooth.
