JAMMU, JULY 01: Directorate of Health Services Jammu today celebrated National Doctors Day with this year’s theme: “Behind the Mask: Who Heals the Healers?”—a reflection on the mental and emotional challenges faced by healthcare workers. The theme calls on society to recognize not just the doctors’ efforts but also their humanity and need for support.

Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar and doctors from Directorate and adjoining offices participated in the event. Some heartfelt quotes by Officials from Directorate about their respective officers were presented during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director said that every day, doctors prioritize the lives of others often neglecting their own well-being. He congratulated all present on the occasion and said that the day is both a celebration and a call for action to build a system where doctors are not just revered as caregivers but also protected, respected and cared for in return.

DD Dentistry Dr. Sanjay Sharma congratulated all on this occasion and gave few tips on how to remain fit. Chief Medical Officer Jammu Dr. Harbaksh Singh highlighted the emotional, mental and physical challenges doctors face in their daily life.

The event organized by AD HEB Dr. Simmi Verma, Dr. Mridula Singh and team HEB was highly appreciated by all.
