Srinagar, Mar 12 : The dilapidated road conditions in Pantha Chowk in Srinagar are posing significant challenges to commuters and residents alike.

Located along the busiest highway in the region, the condition of Pantha Chowk road has become a cause for concern among locals and authorities.

The locals from the area told the news agency—, the roads at Pantha Chowk are riddled with potholes and cracks, making travel hazardous for motorists and pedestrians alike.

They added commuters often find themselves navigating through a maze of uneven surfaces, risking damage to vehicles and encountering delays in reaching their destinations.

A pediatrician in Pantha Chowk told the condition of the roads here has been deteriorating for a long time, as it’s not just inconvenient; it’s also a safety hazard for everyone using these roads daily.

Another passenger, Sajad Ahmad, said they are aware of the challenges posed by the poor condition of the roads at Pantha Chowk. “Whenever I travel from this route, it feels like I am climbing a mountain, and there are many potholes which make the travel difficult. The authorities should think of it,” he added
