JAMMU, DECEMBER 24: Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Nitish Rajora, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Sh. Subash Mehra, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Jammu Jottings Newspaper.

Mehra breathed his last today at ASCOMS Hospital after a prolonged illness.
Conveying deep sympathies with the bereaved family, the Director prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul besides courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.

The Director described Subash Mehra as a noble soul and a great human being who always projected the interests of the common masses with the dint of his journalistic aptitude and determination. He said the loss of late Mehra has created a void in the world of journalism and his contribution to the society would always be remembered by the media fraternity. He also expressed solidarity with the Managing Editor, Mohit Mehra, son of the deceased.
