In his inaugural address, Director reiterated that career counseling will yield positive results only when you provide proper counseling to parents about the various career opportunities during these sessions.

Dr. Itoo announced on this occasion that under this week-long program starting from March 24, mega sessions will be organized in all 374 clusters of the valley and in this regard all the cluster heads are directed to ensure the participation of parents in these sessions.

DSEK asked the counseling experts to familiarize themselves with the success stories related to different career opportunities and provide information about the latest innovative career fields to the students and their parents as well.

He stressed that experts should adopt the tools of psychology and provide effective counseling to remove the career-related concerns of students and parents.

It is pertinent to mention here that formal monitoring will be carried out for the effective implementation of this program, which will be supervised by all the Joint Directors of the Department.
