SRINAGAR, AUGUST 06: Director Sericulture Development Department, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, today chaired a review meeting at his office chamber TulsiBagh, to take stock of the ongoing activities and progress of the Department.
The meeting reviewed the status of Cocoon Auction Markets organized or proposed to be organized during the current year, besides assessing the physical and financial progress under CAPEX and HADP.
The meeting also reviewed the physical and financial progress achieved under Silk Samagra-II for the financial years 2021-22, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26.
The Director stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure timely submission of requisite information and inputs and emphasized close monitoring of the implementation of various departmental programmes and schemes.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Sericulture Development Department, including Additional Directors, Development Officers, Project Executive Officers, Deputy Director Planning & Statistics, Accounts Officer and District Sericulture Officers/Managers Seeds. Jammu-based officers participated through virtual mode.
