District Admin Reasi, JKTPO host E-Commerce Onboarding Drive to empower local businesses

REASI, JULY 19: The District Administration Reasi, in collaboration with The Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) organized a successful E-Commerce Onboarding Drive at the DC office Complex. The initiative, led by District Development Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan and presided over by ADDC Reasi Sukhdev Singh Samyal, aimed to support the One District One Product (ODOP) and District Export Hubs (DEH) programs.

The drive sought to enhance the digital presence and market reach of local artisans, manufacturing units, weavers, farmers, entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and small businesses. Participants included sellers, farmers, artisans, SHG members, entrepreneurs, self-employed youth, and FPOs.

The event featured comprehensive training sessions on e-commerce operations, digital marketing and logistics management. Participants received assistance in setting up online stores, listing products and implementing strategies to boost online sales.

GM DIC, Mohd Anwar Banday highlighted that the ODOP and DEH initiatives continue to demonstrate significant potential in promoting unique district products, boosting local economies and expanding market opportunities for local producers.

Joint Director CPO Narinder Kumar, Chief Agriculture Officer Harbans Singh, Deputy Registrar Cooperative society Bhawani Attri, Chief Horticulture Officer, Manager JKTPO Aditya Chunni, Business Facilitator GeM Javed Sheikh, and representatives from NRLM were present.
