SAMBA, FEBRUARY 20: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Rajesh Sharma today chaired a comprehensive review meeting at DC Complex to assess the progress of works/projects taken up under the District Capex Budget across various key sectors viz. PWD (R&B), Health, School Education, Rural Development Department, Jal Shakti among others.
The DDC conducted a detailed assessment of the physical and financial progress, and directed the Officers to ensure timely completion of works to ensure full utilization of funds released under the District Capex Budget.
Bottlenecks and hindrances, faced by the executing agencies in the execution of works was also discussed. The officials were asked to synergize with stakeholders for immediate resolution.
During the deliberations, DDC Rajesh Sharma emphasized upon the importance of adhering to timelines besides qualitative and tangible results on ground.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Champa Devi, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Kasturi Lal, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineer of PWD (R&B), Jal Shakti Department, Block Development Officers (BDOs) and engineering staff of RDD&PR of District Samba.
