SHOPIAN, JULY 31: To enhance financial knowledge among departmental staff, including accountants and accounts assistants particularly on matters of GPF, SLI and online services, District Fund office Shopian today organized a financial literacy camp at Shopian.
During the event, the role of different online services for financial management was highlighted by the District Fund Officer. He sensitized participants regarding the benefits of SLI policy for employees who were asked to register for the pension scheme.
He said the scheme provides financial security to employees and their families through a life insurance policy.
“The office seeks to improve financial management and decision-making, which can contribute to better governance and more effective use of resources,” he added.
The program was attended by the officers/ officials of different departments as well the staff of the District Treasury and District Fund office.
