KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 27: On the direction of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Day 11 of Sewa Parv 2025 was observed across the Kishtwar district with a series of impactful initiatives dedicated to healthcare, cleanliness, environmental conservation and citizen empowerment.
The Animal Husbandry Department, Kishtwar organized a Farmers’ Awareness Camp at Jawallapur Bunjwah, where mineral supplements and dewormers were distributed among cattle breeders. They were also imparted awareness on best livestock care practices during the winter season.
The Municipal Council Kishtwar hosted a Lok Kalyan Mela & PM Awas Mela–Shehri at Dak Bungalow. The PMAY-Urban Beneficiaries were felicitated with Greh Pravesh and Appreciation Certificates. In addition, a blood donation camp was organized at District Hospital Kishtwar, where eight employees of the Municipal Council donated blood.
A Mega Community Service and Donation Drive was held at Government High School Sigdi Bhata, where students were gifted stationery, books, clothes and toys, instilling in them the spirit of Seva and social responsibility.
The Health Department carried forward the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan through health camps and counselling sessions held in different parts of the District. The locals were made aware about nutrition, iron and calcium supplementation and family planning.
The Marwah Forest Division conducted a plantation drive at Lopara, reaffirming the district’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable growth.
