District level Open Table Tennis championship concludes at Subash Stadium Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 30: The District Level Open Table Tennis championship, organized by the Drugs and Food Control Organization Udhampur in collaboration with District Administration Udhampur under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan successfully concluded at Subash Stadium, Udhampur.

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai was the chief guest on the occasion.
State Drug Controller Lotika Khajuria, Assistant Drug Controller Udhampur Sanjeev Gupta and a large number of students and sports enthusiasts attended the programme.

The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from students in three categories – Under 13, Under 17 and Above 17 years.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC congratulated the Drugs and Food Control Organization for organizing the event and emphasized the crucial role of sports in fostering physical and mental well-being. She highlighted that sports not only help in personal development but also act as a powerful medium to channelize energy in the right direction.

Encouraging the participants, the DC urged them to become ambassadors in the fight against drug abuse and spread awareness about the ill effects of substance abuse.
