RAJOURI, AUGUST 17: For proper implementation of Model Code of Conduct the District Nodal Officer for the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), Rajeev Kumar Khajuria on the directions of District Election Officer, Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting of the officers and officials directly involved in the election process in the district.
During the meeting, the District Nodal Officer MCC emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct, which is fundamental to maintaining the transparency and impartiality of the electoral process.
He underscored that the MCC is not merely a set of guidelines but a binding framework that ensures a level playing field for all political parties and candidates. He instructed all concerned officers to meticulously follow the directives laid down in the MCC guidelines.
To safeguard the sanctity of the electoral process, he directed all officers and officials to refrain from posting any political content or irrelevant messages on their social media.
He explained in detail all the guidelines to be followed and instructions of ECI, issued from time to time, to be adhered by all the employees of the district.
