District Reasi marks 5th anniversary of NMBA with pledge ceremony

REASI, NOVEMBER 18: The District Administration Reasi today organized a Mass Pledge Ceremony at Block Bhomag to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of all district and sectoral officers, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to creating a drug-free, healthy and aware society.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, led the ceremony and administered the pledge to the participants.

In her address, the DC emphasized the collective responsibility of society in curbing substance abuse. She said that the fight against drugs is not just an administrative duty but a moral obligation. “Every individual, family and institution must work together to safeguard our youth and build a stronger, healthier Reasi” she added.

She urged the officers to intensify awareness activities at the grassroots level and ensure that the message of a drug-free society reaches every household.

The event concluded with a renewed promise from all present to continue spreading awareness and actively support the objectives of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.
