GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 18: In a concerted effort to address public grievances and promote government welfare schemes, the District Administration Ganderbal today organized a mega Grievance Redressal Camp under the weekly Block Diwas initiative at the Employment Office building, Harran, for Block Sherpathri.

The camp was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad, who is also holding the charge of ADDC. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents who raised various issues and demands related to their areas.

During the interactive session, the ADC actively listened to the concerns of the attendees, assuring them of timely redressal and issuing on-the-spot directions to officers to expedite pending works. He also instructed officials to submit action-taken reports to ensure accountability and transparency.

Addressing the gathering, the ADC reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to addressing public grievances effectively and delivering tangible outcomes. He urged citizens to continue engaging with such outreach programs to strengthen the bond of trust between the administration and the public.

Various departments, including Employment, Agriculture, Social Welfare, and banks, participated in the camp, briefing attendees about government schemes such as PMSBY, PMJJBY, PMEGP, and other social security programs. Eligible citizens were encouraged to avail benefits of these welfare schemes.

The initiative garnered appreciation from the attendees for its proactive approach and direct engagement, fostering a collaborative environment between the administration and the community.

The camp was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, and other district and sectoral officers.

The District Administration reiterated its dedication to fostering citizen welfare and addressing grievances in a time-bound manner. Citizens were encouraged to actively participate in such initiatives to ensure inclusive and equitable development.
