JAMMU, NOVEMBER 07: Divisional Commissioner and Additional Chief Executive Officer, Jammu Metropolitan Region Development Authority, Ramesh Kumar, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of the works/projects under JMRDA.
Chief Executive Officer Jammu Smart City, Deputy Commissioners Samba and Kathua, VC Jammu Development Authority, SE and Xens of PWD (R&B) attended the meeting.
The Div Com sought the status of progress of different projects of Jammu Metropolitan Region Development Authority (JMRDA) in Vijaypur, Hiranagar and Transport Nagar, Jammu.
It was informed that the main building of the project in Vijaypur has been completed barring the whitewash. The Div Com directed the concerned official to complete the final works of the project by December 15.
Deputy Commissioner Kathua apprised that the physical work of the JMRDA project in Hiranagar has been completed. The Div Com directed for handing it over to the concerned authority.
The Div Com also took stock of the progress made in the development of Transport Nagar Jammu and directed to expedite the work. He issued instructions to the concerned official of the executive agency for completing all the works at the earliest.
