SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 05: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Friday convened a review meeting to assess the progress of Mission Yuva across the Kashmir Division.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners, the MD Mission Yuva J&K, representatives of J&K Bank, and other concerned officers.

At the beginning, the Director Mission Yuva presented a detailed briefing on the initiative’s objectives. He explained that Mission Yuva aims to transform J&K into a vibrant centre for entrepreneurship and sustainable employment.

The presentation covered major components of the mission, including mass employment generation through enterprise creation, development of a broad business support ecosystem, strengthening existing enterprises to enhance SGDP, and building a dynamic startup and innovation culture.

He also highlighted the 4Cs framework including Culture, Capital, Capacity, and Connectivity, the ongoing grassroots awareness campaign, and the features of the Mission Yuva App and Portal.

During the review, the Divisional Commissioner directed officials to revise the motivator selection process at the district level to ensure that only capable and committed individuals are chosen. He also urged Deputy Commissioners to follow up with banks for timely disposal of SBDUS applications approved by the DLICs.

Emphasizing the need to reduce pendency, he called for proper handholding of applicants so that bottlenecks can be addressed and implementation can move forward smoothly.
