DLSA Baramulla announces schedule for Lok Adalats in Nov & Dec-2024
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegram

BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 06: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Baramulla in collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services Committees has announced the schedule for a series of Lok Adalats in the district.

This initiative is part of the planned activities for 2024 issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority and will be held at the District Court Complex Baramulla and at Tehsil Headquarters on designated dates.

The first Lok Adalat will take place on 16th November 2024 and will focus specifically on revenue cases. Following that, a second Lok Adalat will be held on 22nd November 2024, which will address consumer cases. The third and final event, the 4th National Lok Adalat, is scheduled for 14th December 2024 and will include all types of cases, encompassing both pre-litigation and post-litigation matters.

These Lok Adalats present a valuable opportunity for individuals to resolve their disputes outside of a traditional courtroom setting.

Parties interested in settling their disputes through these Lok Adalats are advised to contact the District Legal Services Authority, Baramulla, or their respective Tehsil Legal Services Committees. This initiative aims to make justice more accessible, fostering a cooperative environment for all involved.
