JAMMU, OCTOBER 2: District Legal Services Authority, Jammu in commemoration of Gandhi Jayanti, held a Cleanliness and plantation drive in the premises of District Court Complex Janipur, Jammu today on the 2nd October, 2025.

The event started with the floral tribute to the Father of the Nation “Mahatma Gandhi” by Y. P. Bourney, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Jammu in the presence of other Ld. Judicial Officers of District Jammu, symbolizing that the light of truth and justice shall always be the guiding force in the present times.

. Y. P. Bourney, Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu (Chairman, DLSA Jammu) while interacting with the gathering highlighted Gandhi Ji’s thoughts on truth, non-violence and cleanliness. A Plantation drive was also organised within the District Court Campus, where all Ld. Judicial officers planted the saplings and gave a message to make a positive impact on the environment as it is a right time to reflect on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and strive for peace and harmony in everyone’s life.
