During the session, Adv. Students were encouraged to become aware of their educational rights and the mechanisms available for grievance redressal.

The participants were further sensitized by Adv. Laila Khalid, Panel Lawyer DLSA, Srinagar, about the NALSA DAWN Scheme-2025, highlighting the growing menace of drug abuse among youth and the role of legal services institutions in providing awareness, counseling, rehabilitation support, and legal assistance to affected individuals and their families.

The programme also focused on the NALSA (Legal Services to Victims of Acid Attack) Scheme-2016, by Sehar Nazir, Asst. LADC DLSA, Srinagar, wherein she explained the legal remedies, compensation mechanisms, medical assistance, and rehabilitation measures available for victims of acid attacks. The students were informed about the role of DLSA in providing free legal aid and support to victims in seeking justice.
