Shopian: The District Magistrate (DM) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya Wednesday visited far flung areas of Keller, Shopian to take stock of snow clearance operation and vaccination status of the age group of 15 to 17 years.
It was informed that all the roads have been cleared of snow to facilitate movement of the general public. The DM directed for completing the remaining works with enthusiasm, so that all roads are thrown open for vehicular traffic at the earliest.
He also visited Al- Mustafa Educational Trust Mashwara, Government Higher Secondary School, Keller and stressed for ensuring vaccination of 15 to 17 age group within shortest possible time and also directed the concerned that no student should be allowed to leave the examination centre until he gets vaccinated.
Later, the DM visited Sub-District Hospital Keller to take stock of the medicare facilities being provided by the Hospital Administration. He interacted with the patients and enquired about the health facilities being provided to them.
Vaishya also visited various wards like OPD, Orthopedic, Immunization and other wards and emphasized for providing better healthcare facilities to the patients of the Keller Shopian.
He also checked the attendance of Hospital employees and directed them to work with utmost dedication, great zest and zeal and with punctuality so that the people of the area may not suffer especially in harsh winter.
