JAMMU, OCTOBER 01: Dr. Yugal Kishore today took over as the new Director, Animal Husbandry Department Jammu here at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Talab Tillo. Senior officers and staff of the department welcomed the New Director.
Dr Yugal Kishore has vast experience spanning over thirty-two years and has held several important postings in the department including CAHO Kathua, prior to taking over as the Director Animal Husbandry, Jammu.
On assuming the charge, Dr. Yugal Kishore interacted with the officers and officials of the department and took stock of the ongoing activities, programmes and initiatives of the Animal Husbandry Department.
He emphasized the need for effective implementation of the developmental and welfare programmes, strengthening veterinary services and ensuring that the benefits of departmental schemes reach farmers and other stakeholders at the grassroots level.
The officers and officials of the department welcomed Dr. Yugal Kishore on assuming the charge of Director and extended their whole-hearted support and best wishes for a successful tenure.
