ECI allots symbol “Table” to J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim).

Considers party as State Recognized party in UT of J&K.

ECI allots symbol “Table” to J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim).

Jammu March 26: – In a significant development, Election Commission of India has allotted symbol “Table” to Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (Bhim) for parliamentary elections -2024. Further the ECI has directed that JKNPP (Bhim) shall be treated as a State Recognized Party in UT of J&K.

Recently, the ECI on 20.03.2024 by virtue of an interim order had temporarily restrained the all the groups in J&K National Panthers Party from using the name of the party and had also temporarily freezed the party symbol “bicycle”. Vilakshan Singh who claimed to be the President of J&K National Panthers Party approached ECI and requested ECI to allot new name to group led by him till the dispute pending before the ECI was finally resolved. ECI accepted the said request and allotted name “Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (Bhim)” to the group led by Vilakshan Singh.

Further, the ECI has allotted symbol “Table” to JKNPP (Bhim) for parliamentary elections-2024 only and has further directed that Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (Bhim) shall be treated as a State Recognized Party in UT of J&K.

JKNPP (Bhim) also declared its candidates from four out of five parliamentary constituencies in J&K. Balwan Singh (State General Secretary) shall be the candidate of the party from Udhampur Lok Sabha Constituency. Hakikat Singh (State General Secretary) shall be the candidate of the party from Srinagar Lok Sabha Constituency. Peerzada Mudaasir (District President Kupwara) shall be the candidate of the party from Baramulla Lok Sabha Constituency. Farooq Dar (Provincial President, Kashmir) shall be candidate from Anantnag-Poonch-Rajouri constituency. Candidate from Jammu parliamentary constituency shall be declared soon.

Vilakshan Singh, President JKNPP (Bhim) while addressing the media appealed to the people of J&K to vote for the candidates of JKNPP (Bhim). He said that Prof. Bhim Singh sacrificed his whole life for the welfare of poor and downtrodden. He urged all the old associates of Prof. Bhim Singh to come forward to carry forward the legacy of Prof. Bhim Singh. He said that JKNPP (Bhim) is the only party which can fulfill the dreams of the general masses in J&K.

He assured the party workers that soon the dispute relating to the party which is pending before ECI would be resolved and party name and the party symbol would be allotted to his group.
