Educational Institutions buzz with activities amid Teachers’ Day celebration

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 05: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Teachers’ Day was celebrated across all Educational Institutions across Jammu Division with traditional fervor and gaiety.

Principal of Higher Secondary School, Jindrah, Kasturi Lal Verma along with staff and students prayed and offered flowers to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

A colourful cultural program was also organized to show a mark of respect/honour for their teachers.
Government Degree College Vijaypur celebrated Teachers’ Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal and teachers of the college. The aim of the event was to honor all the teachers of the college including the Principal for their contribution in molding the lives of the students for a better future.

The day was celebrated by organising a series of cultural programmes.
