BANDIPORA, AUGUST 15: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today hoisted the National Flag at the Mini Secretariat Bandipora during the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
The event was attended by district officers from various departments, officials, and other dignitaries.
On the occasion, DC raised the slogan ‘Ek Kaam Desh Ke Naam’ and administered a pledge to all participants, urging them to commit to performing at least one service for the nation in the true spirit of the slogan. She stated that the real essence of independence lies in sincerely fulfilling one’s duties in every capacity, as a citizen, as a parent, as a son or daughter, as a mother or father, and as an officer thereby contributing to the nation’s strength and progress.
Earlier in the morning, DC also hoisted the National Flag at her official residence.
