RAMBAN, JULY 28: The Social Welfare Department (SWD), in collaboration with the Education Department and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized a Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) program at Government High School Dheda, Subdivision Gool.
Supervised by DSWO Ramban, Rahul Gupta, the initiative aims to disseminate information about welfare schemes for girls.
The event, coordinated by Fyaz Ahmed Mushtaq, saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and community members. The primary objective was to ensure information about welfare schemes reaches even the remotest areas.
The District Social Welfare Officer emphasized the significance of such outreach, highlighting that every girl should be aware of available welfare schemes. The program included activities promoting girls’ education and empowerment, with participants displaying supportive placards and banners.
The SWD remains committed to empowering every girl in Ramban, ensuring a more inclusive and equitable society.
