JAMMU, NOVEMBER 21: Eshaan Saini student of BA Sem V of Government Degree College Marh has won gold medal in Open District Judo Championship 2024 held at M.A Stadium, Jammu from Nov 18 to Nov 19-2024.
The Championship was organized by the Judo Association J&K under the banner of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
Around 200 students from different colleges and schools participated in the championship. Eshaan Saini won the gold medal by defeating three players in the below 60kg weight category in Men’s Junior Category.
He has also won Gold Medal in Inter College Judo championship, Gold Medal in Judo District Championship, Gold medal in Judo J&K UT Championship and Silver Medal in Wrestling and Pencak-Silat Inter Collegiate competition recently and also has participated in Khelo India 2024 at Guwahati.
Principal of the college Dr. Rakesh Kumal Koul congratulated Eshaan on his achievements, dedication which has brought laurels to the college in the field of sports. Eshaan thanked the Principal of the college for constant support and encouragement.
