Anantnag, Aug 24: The Estates Department accompanied by Tehsildar Anantnag, sealed the quarters of senior National Conference (NC) leader Peerzada Hamid and Vice President of Municipal Committee (MC) Bijbehara, Peerzada Musharaf, at Anantnag Housing Colony Khanabal on Thursday evening.
“The sealing of the quarters has taken place after the two leaders were served notices by the Estates Department in, asking them to vacate the quarters within 15 days.
Sources said the two leaders have been living in the government quarters for many years.
The occupants accused the government of targeting them for their political affiliations.KNO
