UDHAMPUR, MARCH 20: In an effort to ensure smooth conduct of Parliamentary Elections 2024, Satyanarayana Raju Bhupathi, the Expenditure Observer for 04-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, chaired a meeting here today.
The meeting facilitated extensive interaction among the Nodal Officers tasked with overseeing Election Expenditure monitoring across all five districts of the 4-Udhampur parliamentary constituency.
District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai, presented a comprehensive briefing to the Expenditure Observer regarding the preparations made and the teams assembled to monitor Model Code of Conduct (MCC) compliance and candidate expenditures.
The Expenditure Observer reviewed the preparations and the status of teams on an assembly constituency-wise basis. He emphasized the importance of maintaining proper records and adhering to ECI guidelines for expenditure booking.
Stressing sincerity towards duty, he underscored the necessity of coordination among various teams for effective expenditure oversight. He urged upon the nodal officers to document any MCC violation and promptly inform the election observer.
The Expenditure Observer expressed satisfaction with the election preparations in Udhampur district.
