Srinagar: National Conference president and member parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah has called a meeting of like-minded political parties at his Gupkar residence today.
Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the meeting will start at 12 noon and opposition presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha will also take part in the meeting.
They said that meeting will also be attended by senior leaders of PDP, Congress, CPI(M) and ANC.
Sources added that after the meeting Yashwant Sinha will hold a press conference.
They further said that meeting has been called to discussed several issues including present situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The meeting is also part of the campaign of Yashwant Sinha regarding Presidential elections,” they said.
Meanwhile, a senior leader confirmed to KNS that the meeting will be held tomorrow at Dr Farooq Abdullah’s residence wherein important issues will be discussed. (KNS)
