Fertilizer & Pesticide Dealers Association call on Advisor Khan

Srinagar: Fertilizer and Pesticide Dealers Association called on Advisor Farooq Khan here Tuesday and brought various issues into the notice of the Advisor.
They also put forth several suggestions to improve fertilizer and pesticide distribution in order to increase crop yield.
They also requested for comprehensive market inspections and checks to stop sale of spurious fertilisers & pesticides which is damaging the crop and adversely affecting productivity.
They also sought intervention of the Advisor in ensuring availability of fertilisers and pesticides in every nook and corner of J&K, besides also sought a policy decision regarding spray oil.
Advisor Khan assured the association that the issues brought into his notice will be dealt on priority basis in a time bound manner keeping in view the overall interest of farmers and also to upgrade production and quality of the crops.
