Srinagar: Waqf Chairperson, Darakshan Andrabi on Wednesday said that the foundation stone of cancer hospital will be laid soon and that the Waqf land available around Eidgah will be dedicated to the young sportsperson.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the inaugural function of Ellahi Bagh Indoor Sports Stadium, Andrabi, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that Eidgah is only meant for the prayers and the Waqf is looking for the land grabbed by people around Eidgah, which will be retrieved and dedicated to young sportspersons.
Referring to a query, she said that the stone of the cancer hospital will be laid shortly—(KNO)
