GDC Ajas conducts Open Painting Competition

Bandipora, October 25: As a part of the celebrations of UT Foundation Day, the Government Degree College (GDC) Ajas Wednesday organized an Open Painting Competition within the college campus.

The event was conducted with the themes of “Corruption-Free and Property-Free Future” and the ideals of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.”

The Open Painting Competition aimed to engage students and the community in expressing their thoughts and visions regarding a corruption-free and property-free future for our nation. Participants were encouraged to use their artistic skills to depict these ideals on canvas.

The competition was inaugurated by the college principal Prof (Dr.) Parveen Kousar while highlighting the importance of the themes and the significance of UT Foundation Day.

Fiza Jan and Rukhsana Jalal of 3rd Semester got first Prize and Second Prize respectively. Third Prize was jointly won by Mumtaz Ahmad and Farhad Rasool of 3rd Semester. Consolation Prizes were distributed among other outstanding participants.
