The programme equipped students with essential knowledge about the electoral process, their rights and responsibilities as voters, and the significance of active participation in the democratic process.

The primary objective of the training programme was to educate eligible student voters about their pivotal role in shaping the democratic landscape of the nation. By providing them with valuable insights into the electoral process and encouraging active participation, the aim was to foster a sense of civic responsibility and engagement among the youth.

Saleem Ahmad Lone, Assistant Professor, Political Science delivered a speech focusing on the fundamentals of democracy, the importance of voting, and the impact of youth participation in elections.

He elucidated various aspects of the Indian electoral system, including voting procedures, and the significance of informed decision-making.

Ashaq Hussain Parray, Assistant Professor English provided valuable insights into the power of language and communication in shaping public opinion during elections.

He emphasized the role of critical thinking and media literacy in evaluating political discourse and making informed electoral choices.

The training program included interactive sessions where students had the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and clarify doubts regarding the electoral process.
