JAMMU, APRIL 30: Government Degree College Majalta on Tuesday organized a Bain lisani Mehfil-e-Mushaira (Bi lingual poetry recitation program) in which the students of all the language departments participated.
The event was organised by the department of Urdu under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Shalini Sharma principal GDC Majalta.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr.Shahnaz Qadri HOD Urdu, which was followed by special performance of a group of students by singing “Saarey Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara” after that students recite poems in Urdu, English, Dogri and Hindi. Professor Shalini Sharma worthy principal was the chief guest of the occasion who spoke on the importance of such programs and appreciated students for their efforts to make the program successful.

The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof Naresh HOD Dogri & vote of thanks was presented by Dr Shehnaz Qadri.
