KATHUA, JUNE 22: Government Degree College Ramkote celebrated 12th International Day of Yoga under theme ‘Yoga for Healthy Ageing,’ amid enthusiastic participation of students, faculty and staff.
The event was organized under the guidance of Principal of the college Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul and focused on adopting yoga as a lifelong practice to promote active, dignified living and holistic well being across all age groups.
The Resource person for the event was Yuva Prabhari Patanjali Yog Samiti Yash Paul Khajuria. He presented demonstrations of sitting, standing and pranayama asanas like baddha konasana, sukhasana, tadasana, trikonasana, anulom vilom, bhramari and others.
