PULWAMA, OCTOBER 24: The Government Degree College Tral in collaboration with Indian Council of Social Science &Research (ICSSR) is going to organize a ‘Two-Day National Seminar: Revisiting the Moral Teachings of Sufis and Rishis of Kashmir,’on 5th – 6th November 2024 at GDC Tral.
The seminar aims to bring together academicians, scholars, researchers and experts from across the country to highlight the important aspects and teachings of Rishis and Sufis of Kashmir.
The event is expected to be a thought-provoking which will give an opportunity to the experts and scholars to delve into the timeless wisdom of Kashmiri Sufi and Reshi traditions particularly evolved after the visits of Amir Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) and propagation of Sheikh NooruddinReshi (RA).
The programme shall explore the themes of compassion, tolerance and unity. It also aims to rekindle the values of peaceful coexistence, social harmony and interfaith understanding that defines Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage.
The seminar will also provide a platform for the participants to highlight the message of Sufis and Rishis of Kashmir after revisiting their manuscripts and texts.
