DODA, MARCH 19: As part of the ongoing Chenab Valley Girls’ Sports Competitions, an exhilarating Girls’ Shooting Competition was held today at the Shooting Range, Sports Stadium Doda under the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” initiative.
The event was organized by District Administration in collaboration with Dronacharya Chenab Sports Academy and Green Model Higher Secondary School.
District Information Officer (DIO) Doda, Nasir Khan, was the Chief Guest. Bharat Bhushan, Chairman of DCSA, Dr. Arjun Singh, and Dr. Jaswant Singh, Physical Directors of GDC Doda and GDC Kastigarh were also present.
The DIO highlighted the significance of sports in empowering girls and also commended their dedication towards sports. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from girls across the district, demonstrating their competitive spirit and passion for sports.
The organizing committee extended heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and officials from the District Youth Services and Sports Office, who played a crucial role in officiating the event. Such initiatives continue to strengthen the message of gender equality and create valuable opportunities for young girls in the field of sports.
