GMC Srinagar bids Farewell to Prof. Mohd Maqbool Dar

SRINAGAR, MARCH 31: Government Medical College, Srinagar, bid farewell to Prof. (Dr.) Mohd Maqbool Dar, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, on his retirement from Govt service.

A simple yet impressive function was held to mark the occasion, attended by Principal/Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan; Administrator, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak; Prof. (Dr.) Arshid Hussain, former HOD; faculty members, Medical Superintendent and medical and paramedical staff.

All participants lauded the services rendered by Prof. (Dr.) Maqbool throughout his career at GMC Srinagar. Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan appreciated the dedicated services rendered by Dr. Maqbool in a service career spanning 33 years.

As a token of affection, memento, certificate of appreciation, and traditional gift were presented to Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Maqbool Dar by Principal/Dean on behalf of GMC Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Shafi, Chauffeur, and Mehraj Din, Gardener, were also accorded a warm sendoff on their retirement.
