REASI, MAY 08: As a part of 100 Day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Government Polytechnic College Reasi today organized a poster making competition, encouraging the students to express their mind on the highly important issue.

As many as 40 students actively participated in the competition and showcased their creativity through meaningful and informative posters.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Arun Bangotra and coordinated by faculty members Er. Himanshu Bakshi and Parshotam Lal. They encouraged students to take part in such awareness activities.

The Principal emphasized crucial role of educational institutions in the “Nasha Mukt” campaign, noting that awareness is the strongest shield against the menace of drug addiction. “Such activities play an important role in spreading awareness and motivating students to contribute towards a drug-free society,” he stressed.

The posters made by students reflected strong messages “Say No to Drugs” and highlighted the importance of a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. The 1st prize was won by Vikram from Mechanical Department, while 2nd prize went to Ajay Singh of Electrical Department and 3rd to Aman Lal of Electrical Department.

The event concluded successfully with appreciation for all participants. Er. Veena Thapa, Er. Ayushi Magotra and Er. Parshotam Singh acted as Jury for the competition.
