BANDIPORA, AUGUST 13: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026 and the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram, a series of patriotic activities were held across Bandipora district, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, youth, officials and members of the community.
The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Bandipora, through Zone Quil, conducted a Cycle Rally under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and youth, who carried the Tricolour and spread the message of patriotism, national unity and pride.
A Tiranga Yatra was also held in Sumbal under the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram, with participants carrying the National Flag and reaffirming the spirit of unity, patriotism and national pride.
Patriotic activities were also conducted at the District Fund Office Bandipora, where officials and staff participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by holding the National Flag and expressing their respect for the Tricolour.
Anganwadi Centres across the district also joined the celebrations, with District Programme Officer ICDS Bandipora, Yaar Ali Khan, and children proudly displaying the National Flag and participating in activities aimed at fostering patriotism and awareness about the significance of the Tiranga from an early age.
On the occasion, the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Bandipora, organised a Tiranga Rally with its staff and candidates under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026, promoting patriotism, unity and pride in the Tricolour.
The Department of AYUSH, Bandipora, participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign through awareness sessions, yoga activities and Tiranga Rallies, with enthusiastic participation from students, officials and community members. Selfie videos and photographs were also taken with the Tiranga, spreading the message of patriotism, national pride and respect for the National Flag.
The activities reflected the widespread participation across the district in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026 and reinforced the message of patriotism, unity, respect for the National Flag and collective participation in the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram.
