House, cowshed gutted in fire incident in Bandipora

Srinagar: A residential house and cowshed in its vicinity was gutted in a fire incident in Sheikhmuqaam village of Aloosa Bandipora last night, officials said on Monday.

They said a single-storey residential house, belonging to one Javad Ahmad Gojer son of Late Khaleel ullah, was gutted along with household good in the fire incident.

Also, one cowshed and a Tinshed belonging to his neighbor Mohammad Shafi son of Late Taj Mohammad was also damaged in the fire, the cause of which was not immediately known.

Confirming it, an official of the Fire and Emergency department told GNS that timely response by Fire Services Station headquartered in Bandipora saved surrounding property worth of crores of rupees. (GNS)
