SRINAGAR, AUGUST 15: The Director Youth Services & Sports (YSS), Subash Chibber hoisted the National Flag today on the eve of 78th Independence Day at Sports Complex, here.
Director YSS in his speech stressed his staff that they should be committed towards their duties and roles in order to see our country progressing and flourishing.
He also urged the field staff of the Department to put-in all the possible efforts in inculcating the best teachings of life to the student players and youth in general while training them for different games and sports.
Director YSS said, “The contribution of the youth in social development is of great importance. The youth have been at the forefront of social change and development. They have always been at the vanguard of movements for democracy, human rights, and social justice.”
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Srinagar, ZPEOS, PELs, PEMs, PETs, REKs, NYCs and other members of the field staff were present in the programme.
