UDHAMPUR, APRIL 07: As part of the ongoing under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan, a series of Information, Education and Communication activities were conducted across different blocks of District Udhampur.
The awareness campaign was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai and witnessed enthusiastic participation from local people including students and Youths.
A sensitization session was also organized which emphasized the urgent need for community-level interventions in tackling drug abuse particularly among the youth.
A video documentary showcasing the devastating impact of drug addiction was screened to spread awareness about the physical, mental and social consequences of substance abuse.
The initiative aimed to mobilize communities and instill a sense of responsibility among citizens, especially the younger generation to join hands in building a drug-free society.
