KULGAM, MAY 21: As part of the ongoing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign under the UT-wide flagship initiative ‘Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan,’ Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Kulgam, and Cultural Unit Kashmir, in collaboration with District Administration Kulgam, today organized a mega awareness programme at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Devsar.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and officials from various departments.
During the programme, resource persons conducted interactive awareness sessions, sensitizing participants about the serious social, psychological, and physical consequences of drug abuse. The sessions aimed to equip students and attendees with the knowledge to resist peer pressure and make informed choices.

One of the key highlights of the programme was a powerful skit performed by artists.
The performance, themed on the prevention of drug abuse, artistically portrayed the devastating effects of substance addiction on individuals, families, and society.
