ANANTNAG, OCTOBER 01: As a proud moment for Government Degree College (Women) Anantnag, Iqra Bilal, a Ist Year student of the college secured second position in Division Level Declamation Contest, held on Monday at Srinagar.
The event was organized in connection with Gandhi Jayanti celebrations on the theme “The Relevance of Gandhian Philosophy Particularly Truth and Non-Violence in Contemporary Times”. One student each from all districts of Kashmir Division participated in the competition, which served as a platform for young students to critically engage with Gandhiji’s ideals and reflect on their relevance in addressing contemporary social, ethical, and political challenges.
Iqra Bilal’s performance was distinguished by scholarly insight, clarity of expression, and persuasive articulation, earning accolades from both the jury and audience.
