Anantnag: A JCB driver died after he came under a snow avalanche at Sinthon top in between South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and Kishtwar district of Chenab valley on Tuesday.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that during snow clearing over Sinthan top a JCB driver along with JCB came under snow avalanche.
In the incident, JCB driver lost his life while two others were rescued safely, he said while identifying the JCB driver as Javid Ahmad Zagoo (35) son of Ab Aziz Zagoo, a resident of Larnoo Kokernag area .
After conducting all legal formalities, the body has been handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, he said—(KNO)
