 J&K IT deptt wins prestigious “Technology Sabha Award-2025” for e-Unnat

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 25: The Indian Express Group, in its 37th edition of the Technology Sabha & Awards, has conferred the Technology Award-2025 in the Enterprise Application category to the Information Technology Department, Jammu & Kashmir, for its in-house project “e-Unnat.”

The award ceremony was held at the Novotel Convention Centre, Hyderabad.
Aijaz Qaiser, Additional Secretary, IT J&K and Rachna Sharma, Deputy Secretary, IT Department received the prestigious award on behalf of the department.

Pertinently, e-Unnat is a revolutionary single unified portal developed in-house by the IT Department, J&K, aimed at providing seamless access to government services for the citizens. By integrating all online services onto one platform, it has significantly enhanced transparency, efficiency and ease of access.

Recognized for pioneering innovative solutions and impactful digital governance initiatives, J&K has emerged as a leader in the country’s digital transformation journey. This award is a testament to J&K Government’s unwavering commitment to public service and technological excellence.

With 100% availability of 1,164 online services on the e-Unnat unified portal, Jammu & Kashmir has set a national benchmark in seamless digital service delivery, reinforcing its position at the forefront of e-Governance in India.
